What is the first step to walking with Jesus? Faith.
Before anything else, we must have saving faith—believing that Jesus is who He says He is and trusting that He will do what He has promised. It’s not just knowing about Him; it’s placing our full confidence in Him.
Taking the First Step of Faith in Sharing the Gospel
The same is true when it comes to sharing your faith.
We must be willing to trust that Jesus can and will do what He says He will do—that He can save to the uttermost and that He will never leave us nor forsake us. But we have to take that first step of faith.
If we never actually take that step, we’ll never know what God can do through us for His Kingdom.

As believers, we prepare for that first step by spending time in God’s Word, learning how to share our faith, and practicing what we might say.

- Joining others in an outreach or training where you step out together in faith
Small steps of obedience can lead to powerful Gospel conversations.
